Transelectrica
It is the transmission and system operator in Romania, with a key role in the Romanian electricity market. It administers and operates the electric transport system and ensures the exchange of electricity between the countries of Central and Eastern Europe, as a member of ENTSO-E (European Network of Transport and System Operators for Electric Energy). It is responsible for the transport of electricity, the functioning of the system and the market, ensuring the safety of the National Electroenergetic System (SEN). It also represents the main link between demand and supply of electricity, permanently balancing energy production with demand.

The National Regulatory Authority in the field of Energy - ANRE, is an autonomous administrative authority, with legal personality, under parliamentary control, fully financed from its own revenues, decision-making, organizational and functional independent, having as its object of activity the development, approval and monitoring of the application of the set of regulations mandatory at the national level necessary for the operation of the sector and the electricity, heat and natural gas market in terms of efficiency, competition, transparency and consumer protection.
