Privacy policy

B&D WORLD TRADING S.R.L. respects the confidentiality of your personal data and processes it in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and the applicable Romanian legislation. This policy explains what data we collect through this site, for what purpose, how long we keep it and what rights you have.

Who is the data controller

The data controller is B&D WORLD TRADING S.R.L., headquartered in Bucharest, Sector 3, 2 Octavian Goga Blvd., in the CCIR Business Center, Wing III, Room 19, 8th Floor, registered with the Trade Register Office under no. J40/5676/2005, Tax ID (CUI) 17407867. The head office is in Bucharest, Sector 1, Piața Montreal no. 10, on the premises of the World Trade Center.

What data we process and why

Through the contact form: your name, phone number, email address and the content of your message. We use them to answer the request or offer inquiry you send us and to get in touch with you about it.

Simply by visiting the site: technical data (IP address, date and time of access, requested page, browser type), recorded automatically by the hosting server in operating logs. We use it for the security and proper functioning of the site.

We do not collect data by any other means, we do not create profiles and we do not take decisions based solely on automated processing.

Legal basis

  • Contact form data is processed on the basis of your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), given by ticking the agreement box before sending the message. Providing the data is voluntary, but without it we cannot answer you.
  • If the request leads to a collaboration, the data is also processed for steps prior to entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b)).
  • Technical data in the server logs is processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in ensuring the security of the site (Article 6(1)(f)).

How long we keep the data

Contact form data is kept for as long as necessary to resolve your request and, if we start a collaboration, for its duration and as long as legal obligations require (for example, accounting and archiving). If no collaboration follows, we delete it within a reasonable time after the request is resolved, unless you ask us to keep it.

Server logs are kept for short periods set by the hosting provider.

Who we share the data with

We do not sell or hand over your data. It is accessible to the people at B&D WORLD TRADING S.R.L. who answer requests, to service providers acting on our behalf and on our instructions (website hosting, email service) and to public authorities when the law requires us to.

Data is not transferred outside the European Economic Area, unless our providers do so on the basis of the safeguards provided by the GDPR (for example, adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses).

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the following rights:

  • the right of access to your data;
  • the right to rectification of inaccurate data;
  • the right to erasure (“right to be forgotten”);
  • the right to restriction of processing;
  • the right to data portability;
  • the right to object, for processing based on legitimate interest;
  • the right to withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of the processing carried out before withdrawal.

To exercise your rights you can write to us at office@bdenergy.ro. We answer within one month of receiving your request.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing (ANSPDCP), www.dataprotection.ro, and to apply to the competent court.

Cookies and similar technologies

This site does not use cookies and does not store information on your device (we do not use localStorage or similar technologies either). We do not use traffic analytics, advertising or embedded third-party content. For this reason we do not display a cookie banner.

If we introduce non-essential cookies in the future (for example, statistics), we will ask for your consent beforehand and update this policy.

Links to other websites

The site contains links to third-party websites (for example, O.P.C.O.M., A.N.R.E., Transgaz, Transelectrica). Before opening them we tell you that you are leaving our site. We do not control and are not responsible for the privacy or cookie policies of these sites.

Security

We apply appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including transmitting it over an encrypted connection (HTTPS).
